Ever since I installed one of the service packs, the Internet Explorer entry disappeared from the add/remove section of the control panel. That is how I repair IE from time to time. Now it seems like if I want to repair IE, I have to scavenge for the setup file. This is inconvenient. Maybe someone can give me the registry information to restore the ability to repair IE from the control panel.
BTW, I am not interested in Firefox. How can I add Internet Explorer back to the add/remove programs page in the control panel in Windows 2000?
Select the Windows Components option on the left-pane.How can I add Internet Explorer back to the add/remove programs page in the control panel in Windows 2000?
Dump Windows 2000, Microsoft no longer supports it so there are no new security patches available, making it very unsecure and dangerous to use anymore. Either buy a copy of Windows Vista or Windows XP.
This is what you get from using IE.. Maybe you should think about Firefox and give it a chance, it take time to get used to it but its way better and safer than IE.
