I purchased a used computer but cannot get on internet because of parental control blocker how do i uninstall?

not a child 42 years old and computer had a parental control blocker so everytime i try to get on the computer it say unableI purchased a used computer but cannot get on internet because of parental control blocker how do i uninstall?
I asume you are using Windows vista, then you need to desactivate Parental Control, to do this you need to be a administrator:





1.- Click start button


2. - Click Control Panel, and then under USER ACCOUNTS, click set up Parental Controls (if you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.).


3.- Click the standard user account for which you want to eliminate Parental Controls. Under Parental Controls, select %26lt;OFF%26gt;


4.- Click %26lt;OK%26gt;

Have you tried to uninstall the software through the Add/Remove program in Control Panel?








The other possible way is to find the program file and delete all the entries. But that is a very messy way to solve the problem.





If this is one of the NetNanny types that are offered free, you may be able to reinstall the software into the same directory, and have it overwrite the password with a new one that you set. That does not always work, but may.
get the password, or take it back or reinstall the system
I would sure do a reformat reinstall of the operating system. That will probably be just one of many problems you will have using a computer someone else has set up for themselves. Do you have a disk for the OS?If you have never reformatted before, post back , tell your operating system, and I will try to find some step by steps for you.
