Apparently Mr Blair, as a kind of final 'farewell gift' is determined to enforce government control on the internet in the UK, to basically destroy free speech and regulate everything we see and do, in the style of the internet in China which is essentially cut off from the rest of the world.

China spends Millions in making sure they get no outside Influence, They Spend Billions on Attack Information against other governements. Would you condider letting the BBC Air All Islamic anti west news 24 hours a day? How about 24 /7 Chinese Anti British stations? Freedom of speech Yes but what of calculated dis information attacks funded by you enemies? The Nazi's tried and scceeded in some instances of that during WW2 remember the Cambridge fiasco!
This sort of thing ought to be brought more into the open. A fine site exists where you can ask the question, debate the issue, vote and find out what the rest of the country or indeed the world thinks about it.
Many people find it hard to believe that under all the spin and gloss of New Labour they are still socialists. Blair would in reality love to control all our little pleasures and before anyone says Brown is different we'll soon find out that he is just the same.
