How do I arrange internet parental controls?

My nine year old son has a computer in his bedroom which he usually only uses to play kids games.

However, my husband has been having a look in the history and it seems that my son has been searching Google for more interesting things than just games.

I have set Yahoo as his homepage and blocked Google. I have set Yahoo Safesearch to ON, but stuff still seems to be getting through.

What can I do with this computer to prevent him from getting anywhere with these search terms?

Please help. I don't particularly want him looking at stuff like this. How do I arrange internet parental controls?
EASY, install net nanny or cybersitter. these programms filter out all porn, political and racist material. you set the levels in the administrators section protected by a password. i used cybersitter with great success with my son.

Oh, and it checks pictures for a percentage of bare skin - if too much, the picture is blocked. So his mates can send images but not rude ones. You get to check the history and sites he visits via an email report.

The net is full of filth these days and spoils it for kids. good luck. How do I arrange internet parental controls?
There are other software packages that you can buy that will block unwanted sites. I use the Norton Internet Security since it does virus, firewall, and parental security.

Your account controls the configuration of where the browser can go so your computer should be set up for multiple accounts. I've never tried it with single account control.
