Since the FCC takes control of the TV and things a censored, what will happen if they control the internet?

The FCC's right to regulate television is premised on the idea that the airwaves are free to all.





But most television comes over cable, and is not broadcast into the open air. The FCC has much less of a right to control the content of cable.





With a few exceptions (cities with open access to the Internet), it takes a cable and a payment of money to access the Internet. For that reason, no court would uphold an FCC attempt to control Internet content in the same way the FCC attempts to control broadcast TV content.





The idea that the Democrats control the FCC is ludicrous. Currently, the FCC chair is a conservative Republican and most members of the FCC board are also Republican.
