Who should control the internet?

Who do you think should control/own the Internet? It can be a person, company, country, etc.Who should control the internet?
None.





Because primarily, the main purpose of the internet is for sharing information. This means if there are any governing bodies, THEY WILL CENSOR information as they see fit.Who should control the internet?
Firstly, I should control the internet :)





Because I'm not into business and advertising. I will only provide the masses with full access to all the multimedia downloads that they want, and yes, including Porn...sorry no child porn, that's the only thing that'll be outlawed on my Internet.





I believe that the internet should be free and fast. So Vote for me to control the internet. If I take office I'll provide each of you with 100Mbps (OC-24) SONET fibre optic connections or higher and make it free for the masses.





If I control the internet, expect to find what you want, oh and did I mention that if I'm elected Google will be my vice President :)

No one it is a pool that's full of information that everyone should be able to view. If someone owned it they would try to push what they want people to see or buy from them only.
