I want to help my parents configure several things on their new pc, and would like software which will allow me to take control of the pc and make changes (they live a long distance away from me). Is there software out there (preferrably free) and safe which will allow me to do this?Is there a free programme which allows me to control a computer on the internet?
Yeah its called windows life messenger that has a thing called remote assistance you can control the comp from your home when your parents live on the moon. i would recommend that you both have a Broad band connection so there is not too much lag. other that that there is a program out there called pcAnywhere that costs about 拢60.00 i think. hope this helpsIs there a free programme which allows me to control a computer on the internet?
Well if your running on an windows system and you both have an old or new version of the on board msn messenger, you can use remote access, this in turn will allow you to create a link via msn to control your parents computer while sitting at your own, no matter the distance. if you want further details on how lemme know.
If you use linux %26amp; provided with PUBLIC IP address...you can easily login to your terminal from remote.....
If you have the root access...you can install the software that you wish
The remote assistince in windows is free and allows you to take control over the computer but anything like this is fairly laggy though. The built in remote assistance also has a chat feature built in to it so you talk to the people while you are configuring or fixing their computer.
