What year do you think the FCC will take control of the internet?

How many years later will Time Warner, Disney, and Viacom have a monopoly on the web like they do TV, radio, and newspapers? What year do you think the FCC will take control of the internet?
It will be a while. We were just discussing this in my Media Law class. The FCC monitors radio and television because there is a limited number of airways. Currently the internet is limitless and so as long as it stays that way the FCC will continue to have no control over the internet. There's actually a really good trial that relates to this if you're interested it's Howard Stern v. Delphi, it's about how the internet allows for the same amount of free speech if not more than newspapers and television. What year do you think the FCC will take control of the internet?
That's a good question. I doubt the FCC will have any authority, but the day is coming when the government will try to regulate the Internet. Bush passed the law that prohibits online gambling, that's just the first step. If Hillary gets in office, she wants to make it so radio stations have to air opposing viewpoints equally. The Internet could be next.

As for web monopolies, I don't see that happening. The Web is too ubiquitous for a monopoly fortunately.
They have trained the tastes of the mind for their style of communication kind of like a Borgs relationship. The human mind and body under re-construction to meet with today's advanced technologies to further advance our civilization into the Alain image for time travels beyond our present state of materialization.
